השילוב בין המהפכה המיותרת וברסאנס יצר תרכובת שהקשר בינה לבין שני המקורות לא הכרחית. איפשהו בין להקת הנח"ל על אסיד לבין טיול כיתתי לפולין ביום ללא אלכוהול. בראסנס (1921-1981) יצר טקסטים שנונים וצורבים על סף האנרכיזים שנשענו על מלודיות מתקתקות, בזמן שהמהפכה המיותרת ממרחק שני דורות ממנו, התכנסו בעצמם ויצרו מוסיקה תזזיתית שחווה את הרגע ומתעלמת ממבנה סיפורי. שיתוף הפעולה שהחל בבלגיה המשיך לישראל והפך את הטקסטים לעבריים ורחוקים יותר ויותר מהמקור. הנגינה, חוסר התקשורת והזיכרון הדועך לשו את המוסיקה שוב ושוב ללא היכר עד לתוצאה הנוכחית שהיא " שני מ-3 ".
The combination between the Unnecessary Revolution and Brassens created a compound which isn't necessarily connected to its two ingredients. Brassens (1921-1981) created witty, scorching texts on the verge of anarchism that leaned on sugary melodies, while the Unnecessary Revolution within the gap of two generations away, created fidgety music which ignores the narrative structures. The co-operation continued it's way to israel and transformed the lyrics into hebrew, making them more and more distant from their original source. The jamming and the fading memory, remolded the music again and again to its current shape which is " 2nd of 3 "
המהפכה המיותרת קיימת, בצורות שונות והרכבים שונים מ-1991 ללא תועלת. נאמנים לשיטה הביזארית שנכפתה עליהם בבחירת השם, המהפכה המיותרת לא פיספסו אף הזדמנות להכשיל את עצמם במיומנות נרכשת ונלמדת היטב. המוזיקה נופלת אל תוך הז'אנר המלו-דיסלקטי, מוטאציה של שאנסונים צרפתיים, פסיכדליה ומוזיקת ג'אז אוונגארדית שהחמיצה בשמש. "ראשון מתוך 3" הוקלט יחד עם שני אחיו החורגים בשנת 2002. המיקסים והעריכות נמשכו עד אמצע 2005. במהלך העבודה הסתבר לחברי הלהקה ששרידה ממושכת היא גם סוג הצלחה. כתגובה הם התפרקו.

The Unnecessary Revolution exists for no purpose in its different forms and with changing band members ever since 1991. loyal to the bizzare system that was forced upon them ever since they came up with their name, the unnecessary revolution never missed a chance to fail in their well tought, acquired skills. their music falls into the mello-dyslectic genre, a mutation of french chansons, psychedelia and avantgarde jazz music that was left in the sun to sour. "1st out of 3" was recorded together with its two step brothers on 2002, while its editing and mixing went on until mid 2005.

"אסטרומנטלי" של המהפכה המיותרת יצא הוקלט ויצא בסוף האלף הקודם (1988). את האלבום הפיק אמיר קרטס והשתתפו בו כאורחים ברי סחרוף (סמפלרים) ונמרוד רימון (חצוצרה). המהפכה המיותרת, בזמן ההקלטות היו: ז'אק דוייב, הרווה דלהזוונה, בועז רימר, אלינור קנטור ואני.
"AstroMentaly" was released on a old-fashioned CD (flat metallic round thing that used to be the only option of distributing and listening to music) at 1998 by the Label Earsay.
